Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Intensely Smooth Leave-In Conditioning Cream : Not for me

I use this after the shower when i put my hair up while wet. I highly recommend this to anyone with frizz/flyaways. I don’t use it when i dry or straighten my hair though because it tends to make my hair oily with heat.

This stuff makes my 4b/4a hair look so shiny and feel soft. It doesn’t flake when it dries keeps a nice hold all day long. I use it right after i wash my hair and also as a styling product. It just brings my dry dull hair to life.

You really can’t beat the price of this product for the quality you are getting. My hair is thick and dry so i need conditioners to bring some life to my hair, but conditioning in the shower is just not enough. I put in the product after i come out the shower and it makes my hair look a lot healthier throughout the day. It has bounce, shine, and controls the fly aways well. The smell is great and not overpowering at all, which i like. Nothing i can complain about, this product does exactly what i was looking for.

I’m very impress with this product. I have badly damaged hair like a bird’s nest due to frequent hair color, japanese perm, and hot tools for styling. I was at first reluctant to buy this since it was so cheap and i normally use expensive salon brands. Since i’ve been using so many products and it didn’t take away the tangle or frizz very well, i decided to purchase this producet based on high reviews. It got rid of my tangles and made my hair very soft and smooth. Just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it won’t work as well. In this case it worked spectacular. I am also impress with the smell. I am very allergic to perfume and this has a very light fruity smell that didn’t cause me to sneeze.

Smells amazing, however it’s drying to my hair (perhaps due to all the perfume and alcohol in it) and considering that my hair usually leans more toward being dry, i stopped using it after i used up the first bottle (i bought 2).

This one can also weigh your hair down if it’s very fine and straight. I sometimes use this to style with, but mainly for use when i let my hair air dry. All i need is about a pea sized amount, and it’s just enough. This product also smells amazing.I would definitely recommend it, and i’d definitely buy it again.

First, you can’t go wrong with the price. The bottle is a great size for being so darn cheap. I have found no other product out there that actually works that has this amount of product for such an amazing value. Second, it actually works without leaving your hair sticky, oily, or stiff. To explain my hair, i have moderately curly hair. When my hair naturally dries without any product in it, it resembles a mixture of a 60’s cartoon getting electrocuted and frankenstein’s wife. In other words, it’s very frizzy. The picture i included is with only the garnier fructis sleek & shine intensely smooth leave-in conditioning cream product. Quite the transformation, yeah?my routine generally includes adding 5-7 drops of argan oil (on amazon – organic argan oil for hair, face & skin – best 100% pure & certified organic cold pressed moroccan argan oil – for acne, nails, dry scalp, split ends, stretch marks, body & more – instanatural – 4oz) as well and add a little la bella pink gel for curls (on amazon – la bella lots of curls gelpink 22 oz), but the picture is only the leave-in conditioner from garnier fructis. Soft, silky, shiny curlsi always finish off my hair, no matter what product i use, with some kind of hair dryer diffuser.

My mother suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, and found the spray bottle leave in conditioners to be extremely difficult to work with. So, she went looking for an alternative brand with a better bottle design: this is exactly what she was looking for. She said it’s nowhere near as painful to add it to her hair, and it has a wonderful light scent as well. Will definitely place future orders when she is about to run out.

I bought this to use for my wash and gos (i’m not big on the ingredients needing to be all natural and blah blah blah. I am a college student on a budget, people). I have 3b and 3c curls, low porosity hair with medium strands and high density. The fact that alcohol is the 2nd ingredient annoyed me because everyone and their uncle talks about how bad and drying it is for hair. However, i’ve looked at a lot of hair products and the majority of leave-ins have it as the second or third ingredient. So i’ve learned to accept it. Now the product itself is ok, but not great. I bought it to combat frizz, it didn’t really help much. It’s not something you can use alone if you have curly hair. I pair it with garnier deep nourish 5 action elixir, my beloved ogx argan conditioner (a curly’s bff) and my beautiful textures gel, then sit under a hooded dryer on low heat for an hour (i know.

Okay, so, something i feel like you should know with this product: this leave-in conditioner, and most garnier products i’ve found, is really thick. This product is about the same consistency as ketchup, so what i ended up doing with this is kind of using it like a “from concentrate” and mixing the product with like a 1:1 or 1:2 of product:water to dilute it down. That’s good for us, because you get more for less, compared to other brands where the conditioner is basically the same consistency as water. Even with diluting it, i can tell a noticeable difference in how my hair feels (for the better) for up to two days after applying it.

This item was and is a nice savings because although i had coupons for in-store products, putting this item in with my order saved me time from having to go to the store and the item is likely in better condition than the items in the store. Also, this item was full, which i also appreciate.

I’ve used this leave-in conditioner & loved it. . I, usually, don’t like conditioners, period. . This one is so very different. . It doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy or greasy. When i do use conditioner; it’s absolutely the only one i’ll put in my hair. . I highly, highly recommend this leave-in conditioner for anyone 😍.

Based on the ingredients, this is the closest to the discontinued sleek & shine blow dry perfecter and straightening balm that i could find – even though the bottle is a different shape, and there is another product that looks like the discontinued one. It has a weird color and different consistency than the discontinued product. It also doesn’t work as well.

Nice scent but as far as the moisturizing aspects, it just didn’t do much for my hair which is course, wire-y, dry, thick – the worst hair on the plant, yes, but was hoping this might help a bit. Unfortunately for me, it didn’t do much. Will use until it’s gone, probably won’t repurchase.

My daughter and i have long hair and have been using this product for about 5 years. I put a pea sized amount on my ends and then work up though the rest of my hair after showering. It makes my hair soft and shiny and very easy to comb through.

I actually use this as a conditioning rinse for my yorkshire terriers. When paired with a good quality shampoo this conditioner is the perfect finishing touch to really leave them silky smooth and smelling divine. I have also used it on myself a couple of times and will say that while it doesn’t seem great for my hair type it would probably be wonderful for someone with dryer hair.

I don’t have particularly dry hair but fly-aways and general un-cooperation is a daily occurrence for me, especailly during hot and humid summers. Some people can pull of the messy hair look but that’s just not me. This product, although it feels heavy when you put it on your hands to apply it, does not weigh down my hair or alter the texture of it – my hair is actually very soft to the touch. I apply this to damp hair before blowdrying it and it has helped with fly-aways tremendously, even when humidity is very high. I have hair that is naturally neither straight nor wavy so i blow-dry it straight, and this product keeps my odd waves in check. The one downside is i do have to wash my hair a bit more often. 5 to 3 days on between washes without my hair getting too oily. Since using this product its now down to 2 days. I don’t mind that though since the results were exactly what i was looking for.
