Waterpik Complete Care Water Flosser and Sonic Toothbrush : Flush Away with the Pulse and then Let the Brush do the Work

If you are skeptical, don’t be. This is my first “nice” electric toothbrush and i have to admit, i’m sold. I should have been doing this for years. My fiancé has a nice sonicare unit that she really likes and i was looking for something like a “starter setup” to see if i liked it and would use it regularly. Hands down much better than manual brushing. This unit has 2 speed settings and both are powerful. I like the brush head and the quality feel of the toothbrush. The battery has an indicator light to let you know the charge level and the toothbrush itself has a nice rubberized grip.

Flush away with the pulse and then let the brush do the work. After many years of manual brushing, i took the chance on one of those rotary pulsating brushes, oral b to b exact. That was my first venture in powered tooth brushing and not my last. That brush lasted about three years; twelve brush heads and around $120 later, i went into the ultra-sonic field of brushing. Sonicare was the best brush experience i had to date in my middle aged life. That brush too lasted around 3 and even possibly 4 years. Although the replacement brush heads were much more costly than the oral b ones, and ultamitly the replacement cost of the brush heads is what drove me back to purchase another oral b rotary type tooth brush. Let me say neither of my first two electronic tooth brushes ever quit, or even slow down. It simply got to the point of replacement heads cost total, matched the total cost of the tooth brush when purchased. Well i went back to the oral b simply because i could not bring myself to justify the sonicare price + the brush head price.

I recently had one of my electric toothbrushes batteries die and i could not replace them. I am very happy with the water pik setup. I have never used a water flosser before and really like how it flushes out my gums. It is nice that it comes with many different heads for the flosser. I suffer from gingivitis because i do not floss enough and hope this can help me keep my teeth better off. I know i still need to floss with real floss but this does help. The toothbrush is very nice also, it has 2 speeds and i really like the faster speed for my teeth. I really feel like i am getting a good clean after using this.

Love that fresh out of the dentist chair feeling every day. Big difference for my bad teeth and gums. I put off buying one of these things for so long thinking, “there’s no way this actually works like manual flossing does”. My teeth are pretty crowded in my mouth and when food gets stuck in between teeth it can take some effort to get out, but my gums aren’t very healthy and i get a lot of cavities even though i brush and floss regularly, plus i’m not a teenager anymore (34 y/o female), so i thought maybe it was finally time to be a grown up and see what all the waterpik fuss is about. I bought this when it went on sale during the holiday prime deals of the day and have been using it for several weeks now and i have to say, i’m a believerhere’s what i love:- it has replaced my toothbrush and manual flossing with one system. I’ve used electric toothbrushes before and didn’t think they were that great. Always ended up going back to my oral b manual soft head toothbrush, but i really love this toothbrush. It ensures that you brush for the full recommended 2 minutes (which i can promise you i wasn’t doing before) with a pulse every 30 seconds to let you know when to change locations etc. My teeth feel so much cleaner after using this toothbrush than they do after manual brushing. It charges fast and holds a charge well.

  • Replace the battery yourself!
  • LOVE that fresh out of the dentist chair feeling every day!! Big difference for my bad teeth and gums!
  • Great if slightly messy product

Good for your teeth and gums. Excellent for permanent retainers that make floss hard to use. . This is a good product and does a great job. Our teeth and gums are in better shape compared with other products. The combination of the toothbrushes and oral irrigation is excellent. It helps me keep my older teeth and gums in good shape and also helps my young adult child’s clean with his permanent retainer that makes it hard to use dental floss. The thing i would improve is storage of the accessories. I would like to be able to store toothbrush heads on the main (water pik oral irrigation) device rather than in a separate case, though a travel case that will hold the toothbrush and two heads is provided. The main unit holds 5 oral irrigation heads, and all 5 are provided. They are different and interesting.

I have owned this for a little over 2years – just long enough to be out of warranty, and the toothbrush has quit charging. I cannot even get the recommended 2-minute duration out of it. Waterpik did give me the name of a replacement toothbrush, the sr-3000, for $65 (almost the cost of the whole combo unit). But another reviewer suggested, i may be able to replace the batteries (not recommended by the mfr, who would rather sell me a whole new unit) and revive this one. Going to try that firsti have had great checkups from both dentist and periodontist with the help of this device. I just wish it were more reliable.

I already in love with this product. It just came in the mail, so i cannot comment on long term use as of yet. It did come a day early, thanks amazon. After unpackaging i thought they had forgotten to send me the tooth brush heads and the flosser heads, but upon closer inspection they were tucked in the water tank. I have deep pockets and bridgework/fillings/crowns so i really need to take care of my teeth. I used the water pik, then the sonic tooth brush, and afterwards i used thread floss to see if it had missed anything. There are certain places in my teeth that also have food when i use regular floss but the water pik had cleared it out. My teeth have not felt this smooth and clean since i got my last professional cleaning. I already in love with this product.

I’ve used a ton of electronic toothbrushes in the past, and i can comfortably say that this is the finest i’ve used. The motion of the brush took a little getting used to (at first i felt like i was being electrocuted when i turned on the brush), as it’s not a conventional motor that drives the brush. I’m no rocket scientist, but i believe it uses sonic waves to power the motion of the brush against the teeth. Well, however it does it, this brush does an exceptional job cleaning my teeth. Both in front and the hard to reach teeth no one ever sees but the dentist in the back of the mouth. And a full brushing of my teeth leaves all three of the green lights still illuminated. The brush battery has lasted over a long weekend (4 full days) without a recharge, and that’s with brushing twice a day. Changing toothbrush heads is very simple.

I’ve used the waterpik and electronic toothbrushes for several years and decided to update to this combo unit. It’s not a must-have product, but still a pretty good set. The toothbrush and waterpik work as they should and i’m pleased. The toothbrush feels good on the teeth and gives you a refreshing mouth feel. The waterpik gets rid of plaque/tarter, almost reversing gingivitis. Maybe even prevents periodontal disease. My dentist was impressed by my hygiene especially since i told him i don’t floss & use this exclusively. He told me to continue using this as a supplemental fix in between routine dental checkups. This combo unit has a smaller water compartment and has to be refilled more often than the individual unit, but that’s okay.

The sonic toothbrush was a bonus. To be honest i have some spacing in my teeth which tend to collect food particles. Dental floss, tooth picks just don’t cut it. Dentist says major dental work. Waterpik being substantially cheaper than dental work, my choice was obvious. Product came post haste with prime. Now, after meals, a wash down with the pik and wonder of wonders, no food residue.

Been to the dentist everyday clean. Waterpik, my first one died after 1 1/2 years but i love it so much i had to order another one. After ordering this one on amazon. Com which was a better price than i paid 1 1/2 years ago i called up waterpik because i couldn’t remember who i purchased the first one from nor could i find my record anywhere. Waterpik had my serial no on file and said they would be happy to send me out a new unit which i’m waiting to received. I received this new one from amazon before i realized waterpik would send me a new one. In short; waterpik is an awesome company. I have owned many sonic toothbrushes in the past but i will forever come back to waterpik, especially this unit i just love it like crazy because my teeth feel like i’ve been to the dentist for a through cleaning every day.Don’t hesitate to purchase this and for this price you just can’t beat it anywhere on the web.

$5 rebate on this thru june 2017. I have been using waterpik sonic brushes for 20 years. At one point, before waterpik, i had some 11 or 12mm pockets. I found an excellent dentist who told me exactly what to do to fix this. He gave me a waterpik brush as part of my care and did a root cleaning. Within 6 months, the biggest pocket was 3mm. My gums today are still as healthy and i never get cavities 🙂 waterpik makes an excellent product. The battery does not last long, especially if you are sharing this with family members who each have their own brush head and brushing multiple times a day.

Great if slightly messy product. This was easy to set up and start using. It does take a little while to get used to using the water flosser if you haven’t used one before, and honestly, it’s easy to get the whole bathroom wet with this thing. The instructions say to “just let the water flow freely out of your mouth,” but when i try that, some water tends to stream down the handle and onto my hand and then down my arm and often down my leg. Maybe i’m not doing it right. In any case, it will get your teeth and gums clean and the brush is excellent, too. The travel case is nice and the battery will last a coupe of weeks. Great for all but the longest trips away from home. For the money, this was a great deal.

Very satisfied with purchase. I really enjoy using this to clean my teeth. I am horrible at dental hygiene and my dentists are always reminding me that i need to get either a soft bristle toothbrush or an electric toothbrush and also a water pik. I decided to finally listen and i am very glad that i did just that. Any water pik is a bit difficult to get used to if you have never used one before but instructions manual that comes with this product makes it a lot easier to understand. The toothbrush comes with two different tops, so you can switch them out, and the blue container is where you can store them which is very important to me as i cannot stand leaving toothbrushes out to collect dust and dirt all day. This blue container keeps them safe, sound and clean which i definitely enjoy. Whenever i turn it on it’s side to brush sideways, it always notices the turn and then appears to be going slower. I have a big problem with brushing to hard so this certainly was a treat for me. Also, some other things i enjoyed about this product was its pricing.

Great battery life and overall quality is excellent for the price. This is my first time buying an electronic toothbrush and i have to admit i am very impressed with this product. The toothbrush comes with a small and medium sized head, carrying case, and charges wirelessly on the waterpik component. It also has two speeds to choose from to make sure that you get the clean that you need (i have to use the lowest setting due to tender gums, but the high setting is great for getting stuck on gunk off). Perhaps one of the most impressive things about the toothbrush itself is the fact that the whole thing seems to be pretty waterpoof, charges effortlessly, and the battery has an incredible lifespan. I took it on vacation and used it every day for about 5 days before it went down to 2/3 battery power. So it’s great to take on vacation and not have to worry about it running out of charge. With the addition of the carry case it just makes it one of the best electronic toothbrushes i’ve seen for the price. The waterpik it comes with is also pretty good. A large variety of tips and a variable pressure knob allows you to customize exactly what you need.

I still feel that regular floss cleans much better. The water floss does not feel like it. It is convenient to have this because it is a bit frustrating when you run out of floss. With this, it is always there and it doesn’t run out. For the price, the build quality decent. It’ll get the bits of food stuck between your teeth out. I set mine on the max pressure as i’m used to flossing for years and it doesn’t bother my gum. However, i still feel that regular floss cleans much better. The water floss does not feel like it removes food particles that form a layer between teeth.

I wish it had been part of my dental cleaning since childhood. My teeth are very tight or close together, with the waterpick i can make quick rinse and it removes so much food, making youfeel clean. A very quick process, love iti still do flossing every night since my dentist recommends it. I use it with warm water, it is very easy to clean and maintain clean, it works great. Purchased this item on my own, i don’t get any discount on any of my products, (sadly). : )this product is a must have for you and those you care about.

I was just trying to see if there was a way if i could use photoshop to add an extra few stars to this review and make it 6 or 7 stars. This is the most fantastic system i have ever purchased. When i first turned this on, it was a little awkward but i had a big piece of something in my teeth and i wanted to try it out. I aimed it at the spot and i had it set a little too high and water went everywhere so i turned it off real quick. It was only on a second and as i was cleaning up my mess i realized it had worked, the little piece was gone from between my teeth with just that little squirt. It takes a while to get the technique down but every time i use it you can just watch the stuff fall out of your mouth into the sink that were stuck between your teeth. I already had a forty dollar electric tooth brush sitting on the shelf because the brush was too small and i was using my newest twenty dollar one because i just liked it the best even though it was kind of fat to hold. This charges in a dock with no connectors or wires, nice. It has charging lights that tell you the status of the built in battery. The only thing i didn’t like was it vibrated a too little slow for me, i felt like it was going a little slow to get my teeth clean.

Pik is good toothbrush not so much. I bought this combo as i needed a water pik to help with the bridge i have. I have read that having the electric toothbrush is also good for cleaning your teeth. The item was super easy to set up and start using. All you have to do is click the pieces in place and turn the power on. The pik works great and has a bunch of different heads that i am still trying to figure out which ones i actually need. The water tank normally lasts me about 4 uses before refilling it. I love that there is a button on the pik its self to stop the water with a push of the finger. However the toothbrush that comes with this combo isn’t great. It has two settings, low and high.

Excellent upgrade from sonicare. Our sonicare died after over seven years of faithful service. I put off replacing it as i did not like the redesigned head and the ‘enhanced’ pricing for replacement heads. I had thought of waterpik as strictly a water pick company, but by now, a lot of the old sonicare patents have expired. The reviews on amazon encouraged me to give the waterpik a try. I am happy to replace my manual flossing with it. The toothbrush works similarly to the sonicare, minus the beep on the quadtimer. The pieces snap on with a satisfying click. Mine came with multiple brushes. I am not type-a enough to use the different picks, being satisfied with the general purpose pick. If multiple family members are considering use, you might want to consider buying extra picks. My only complaints about the unit, and they are minor, is that on the pick, you press the handle button to turn water off. If you should accidentally drop the pick or even loosen your grip, water can go everywhere if you are not careful.

Waterpic today keeps the dentures away. I have spent a lot of years using a manual toothbrush, so, this has been quite the adjustment. Let’s start with the tooth brush. It does an amazing job at cleaning your teeth. It comes with two brushes a mini, and a regular size brush head. I gave the regular one to my son and he says its great. The mini gets into all the crevices and behind the teeth exceptionally well. This is great since the hygienist always seems to spend more time with the back 4 molars. With this it feels like i had my teeth cleaned at the dentist. Dont get me wrong, my oral hygiene has always been very good.
